General Terms and Conditions of mysecurityevent GmbH, as of September 9, 2022
1 Scope
The following General Terms and Conditions apply to all contracts between mysecurityevent GmbH, located at Scharnhorststr. 3c, 10115 Berlin, and the contractual partner who takes part in the events and uses the products of mysecurityevent GmbH.
2 Conclusion of the contract
2.1 The contractual partner makes a binding and irrevocable offer to conclude the contract by submitting the registration by fax, post, email or via the websites of mysecurityevent GmbH.
2.2 Any contract with mysecurityevent GmbH is only concluded when it has been confirmed in writing by mysecurityevent GmbH.
2.3 The offer of mysecurityevent GmbH is only aimed at business customers according to §14 BGB, the prices are therefore plus VAT.
2.4 If the contractual partner is a provider of advice, services and/or solutions and has registered as a participant instead of as a sponsor, mysecurityevent GmbH will retain the payment.
3 Scope of the contract and performance of services
3.1 mysecurityevent GmbH provides face-to-face events and can change the location, time, program and individual parts of an event. There is then no entitlement to a reduction or refund of the entrance fee. mysecurityevent GmbH is not liable for the cancellation, change or postponement of an event due to force majeure. This also applies to official orders.
3.2 mysecurityevent GmbH is not responsible for the content of the exhibitors and speakers.
3.3 all rights to images and sound are reserved to mysecurityevent GmbH. The contractual partner agrees to image, video and sound recordings and other recordings and their free use. These recordings are also permitted by the contractual partner.
4 Terms of payment
4.1 The contractual partner of mysecurityevent GmbH has the obligation to make advance payments and must pay from the booking date within 10 working days immediately after the invoice is issued without any deductions, unless another payment deadline has been expressly agreed.
4.2 If individual services are not fully used by the contractual partner through no fault of mysecurityevent GmbH, the agreed fees are still due unless another agreement has been made.
5 Contract changes, withdrawal of contracts
5.1 Only the person named as a participant on the contract is entitled to participate; a transfer of this right to participate is not possible unless something else has been expressly agreed with mysecurityevent GmbH.
5.2 mysecurityevent GmbH grants the contracting party the right to cancel registration for an event organized by mysecurityevent GmbH under the following conditions: The contracting party can cancel their contract in writing with a notice period of up to four weeks before the first day of the event and will receive a voucher for the next event. The decisive factor for this four-week period is the receipt of the declaration.
6 Liability
mysecurityevent GmbH is not liable for damages and replacement, cancellation, change or postponement of an event due to force majeure, technical malfunctions, war, terrorism, natural disasters, political restrictions, official orders, restrictions on transport or other unforeseen events.
7 Place of jurisdiction
The place of jurisdiction is the Berlin Regional Court if the contracting party is a registered merchant or a legal entity under public law or has its general place of jurisdiction abroad.
