General Terms and Conditions of mysecurityevent GmbH, as of September 9th, 2022
1 Scope
The following general terms and conditions apply to all contracts of mysecurityevent GmbH, located at Scharnhorststr. 3c, 10115 Berlin with the contractual partner who takes part in the events and uses the products of mysecurityevent GmbH.
2 Conclusion of the contract
2.1 The contractual partner submits a binding and irrevocable offer for the conclusion of the contract by sending the registration by fax, post, e-mail or via the websites of mysecurityevent GmbH.
2.2 Each contract with mysecurityevent GmbH is only concluded when it has been confirmed in writing by mysecurityevent GmbH.
2.3 The offer of mysecurityevent GmbH is only aimed at business customers according to §14 BGB, the prices are therefore exclusive of VAT.
2.4 If the contractual partner is a provider of advice, services and/or solutions and has registered as a participant instead of as a sponsor, mysecurityevent GmbH will
withhold payment.
3 Scope of Contract and Execution of Services
3.1 mysecurityevent GmbH provides face-to-face events and can change the location, time, program and individual parts of an event; there is then no entitlement to a reduction or reimbursement of the admission price. mysecurityevent GmbH is not liable for the cancellation, change or postponement of an event due to force majeure. This also applies to official orders.
3.2 mysecurityevent GmbH is not responsible for the content of exhibitors and speakers.
3.3 mysecurityevent GmbH reserves all rights to image and sound. The contractual partner agrees to image, video and sound recordings and other recordings and their free use. These records are also permitted by the contractual partner.
4 Terms of Payment
4.1 The contractual partner of mysecurityevent GmbH has the obligation to perform in advance and must make the payment within 10 working days from the booking date immediately after invoicing without any deductions, unless another payment term has been expressly agreed.
4.2 If individual services are not fully used by the contractual partner through no fault of mysecurityevent GmbH, the agreed fees are still due, unless otherwise agreed.
5 Contract Amendments, Withdrawal of Contracts
5.1 Only the person who is named as a participant on the contract is entitled to participate, a transfer of this right to participate is not possible unless something else has been expressly agreed with mysecurityevent GmbH.
5.2 mysecurityevent GmbH grants the contractual partner the right to cancel the registration for an event of mysecurityevent GmbH under the following conditions: The contractual partner can cancel its contract in writing with a notice period of up to four weeks before the first day of the event and will receive a voucher for the next event. The receipt of the declaration is decisive for this four-week period.
6 Liability
mysecurityevent GmbH is not liable for damage and replacement, cancellation, change or postponement of an event due to force majeure, technical faults, war, terror, natural disasters, political restrictions, official orders, traffic restrictions or other unforeseen events.
7 Jurisdiction
The place of jurisdiction is the district court of Berlin if the contractual partner is a merchant or a legal entity under public law or has its general place of jurisdiction abroad.
